(Archived) Provider Schedules Manager

Job Description

Purpose: The Provider Schedules Manager's primary responsibility is to provide recommendations for improving template and scheduling efficiencies, impacting practice effectiveness and revenue stream. The Manager will work closely with a number of internal department leaders to analyze reporting, contribute to and execute a Practice Management Software Strategy as it relates to template enhancements and improvements, support online scheduling intiatives, and be the driving force behind a number of executive sponsored company initiatives. In addition to strategically leading a number of initiatives to meet goals, the Manager will position the department to improve, sustain, and scale as business needs change. The Manager will oversee, support, grow and develope a number of Provider Template Specialists to ensure the team is meeting departmental service level agreements and provides the upmost service excellence to a number of diverse clients.

Essential Functions:

* Create, report on and be accountable to service level agreements
* Train, educate and provide ongoing coaching and guidance to a number of Provider Template Specialists
* Create, publish and promote an annual strategic plan including clearly defined goals and plans to meet goals
* Analyze data as it pertains to crafting recommendations for template changes
* Partner with a number of internal department leaders to evaluate software solution, make rcommendations and charter changes
* Partner with the Learning and Development team to create, publish and promote Learning Management Courses
* Maintain, update, enhance a dedicate Dental Bytes Site and shared resources
* Provide necessary team members regular, timely and relevant reporting
* Be available to provide live (in person or via web session) training and education opportunities to a number of diverse clients
* Grow, develop, enhance and cultivate the strenghts of direct reports, while sourcing future talent and maintaining an evolving succession plan

Non-Essential Functions:

* Regular and timely meetings with direct reports
* Create, document and publish standard operating procedures
* Maintain accurate and up to date calendar
* Distribute company related materials to team members as needed
* Plan and host cultural activities within the department and/or company, as needed

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Education/Certification
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* College degree preferred
* 3-5 years leadership experience with direct cusomter service contact
* 5+ years in a professional environment
* Understanding of dental terminology and procedures preferred

Work Environment/Conditions:

* Overtime required as needed to perform job functions
* Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions
