Hero is seeking an experienced DDS to oversee clinical operations and teach leadership and excellence to practicing DDS in our Company

The Regional Dentist will oversee, evaluate, and teach leadership skills to managing dentists across his/her portfolio of offices. The Director will be responsible for evaluating and teaching excellence in clinical proficiency by managing dentists in all aspects of dental operations; from collaboration and communication with staff and patients, to delivery of patient care, to managing operating metrics.

The position requires collaborating with regard to dental office operating metrics, leadership and communication skills, setting dentist and staff motivation levels, and patient care and management.

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee, evaluate and teach leadership to managing dentists
Work closely with the Vice President of Operations and Regional Managers to achieve operational excellence
Instill a high level of patient care that makes every patient feel comfortable
Supervise the quality of care provided by all doctors in the region
Interface with corporate management to implement company initiatives
Conduct doctor hiring, training, performance management and development for the region
Partner with office operations management to ensure smooth and efficient operations within each office location
Set goals and work closely with the dental providers to attain them

Job Requirements:
Must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree from an accredited ADA dental program
Masters Degree or other advanced certification preferred
Requires a valid Colorado Dental License
7 years clinical work experience
Experience managing dental office operations and dentists
Experience evaluating patient care and clinical skills of dentists
Experience teaching and developing leadership and clinical skills of dentists
Multi-unit / regional management experience preferred
