Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
General dentists needed for a mobile school program in the Atlanta, Albany, and Macon area. The General Dentist must be GA licensed, have Medicaid #, willing to travel throughout a couple counties, and at least be able to work consecutively one plus day per week throughout the school year. These mobile units need a dentist full-time, 5 days per week, and are flexible with schedules. You will travel to schools and provide dental care to children who rarely have the chance to access proper treatment. Rewarding and stimulating, you can choose any days or a combination of all 5 as long as you can work consistently.

General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.
