Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Community Health Center located in Northern Wisconsin is looking for a permanent general dentist to work in their facility starting February 3, 2014. They need this general dentist to work 4 days per week, 7:30-5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, minimally accepting 3 days per week. This positions would be temporary to permanent with the dentist working for 1 month on a contract basis then going permanent if it is a good fit for both parties.

General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.

Required Qualifications
The Locum Tenens general dentist will need to have their Medicaid # or is willing to obtain one. You will be doing all aspects of general dentistry to include: Fillings, extractions (simple), root canals (anterior not posterior), dentures, and a small amount of crown and bridge.
