Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 04/25/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Great opportunity for a General Dentist needed in Maryland. Dentist will work out of 3-4 chairs assisted by 2 dental assistants and 2 hygienists. Dentist will see around 25-40 patients per day and will perform dentures, fillings, extractions, crowns, and anterior root canals. Opportunity for percent of production compensation in addition to guaranteed daily rate. Travel and lodging included as well.

General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.
