Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Community Health Center outside of Sacramento, CA area needs a general dentist to cover their dental clinic. This dentist will be seeing majority Adults, around 12 patients per day, from 8am to 5pm doing basic general dentistry. Coverage dates:
June 6th & 9th
July 7th - 18th

General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.

Required Qualifications
The youngest patient this general dentist will see is 3 years old. This dentist will be doing mostly fillings and extractions. This will be very basic general dentistry seeing on average 12 scheduled patients per day consisting of 6 adults, 4 geriatrics, 3 adolescent, the maybe one child under 12 years old including 6 exams. 90% of patients are scheduled and 10% walk-ins.
