Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

General dentist needed for a mobile School Program in Jefferson City Kansas 2-3 days per week. They need a general dentist that is KS, has a Medicaid # or is willing to get one, has their own malpractice insurance with proof of coverage, and are willing to travel within the area to local schools. These mobile units travel to schools and provide dental care to children who rarely have the chance to access proper treatment. Starting October 6, 2014 for 2-3 days per week and they are flexible on which days you can work.

General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.
