Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

General dentist needed for a dental clinic located in Conyers, GA. General Dentist must be GA licensed, have Medicaid #, and work consistently throughout the school year. The clinic is a free standing clinic and it provides dental care to majority adults and some children. Rewarding and stimulating, and they need a general dentist to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.. Dentist will start ASAP through the school year.

General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.


Required Qualifications
This general dentist will need to be comfortable with adults and children. You will be doing all aspects of general dentistry to include: Fillings, simple extractions, root canals (anterior and posterior), and crowns.

Facility Location
Conyers is located twenty-four miles to the east of Atlanta and in the 1800’s, when it was still quite small survived several fires set on purpose by some of its residents. Holly Hunter and Dakota Fanning, two well known American actresses, are from Conyers. During the 1996 Olympic Games which were held in Atlanta, the equestrian and mountain biking events were hosted by the city of Conyers.
