(Archived) Pediatric Dentist

Pediatric Group Dental Practice located in El Paso, TX is looking for a General Dentist! This General Dentist will need to be comfortable working with all children an have their nitrous certification. You will be seeing all children with the youngest being 3 years old and all availability will be considered.

All of our client's offices are set up to be family and kid friendly. They offer entertainment in every room, snacks, and patient doctors and staff to make each family have a positive experience. This is a high volume office with helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable co-workers.

This position will diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions. Required Qualifications A typical day will consist of 30 patients per day (including hygiene checks). 99% of patients will be scheduled with 1 % being walk-ins. General Dentist MUST have their Medicaid number.

Preferred Qualifications This position will be doing: Crowns - stainless steel Prophys Root Canals- anterior and posterior is a plus Extractions - simple Fillings- amalgams and composites Sealants (assistants will do)
