Job Description
The private practice of Dr. Wesley Powell is looking for an experienced EXPANDED FUNCTIONS certified pediatric dental assistant to join our amazing team! We offer pediatric dental care and orthodontic treatment. If you don't have pediatric experience, we are still interested in speaking with you. We have two Atlanta locations (Northlake/Tucker and Buckhead) and some travel will be required. We use Cloud9 Pediatric and Orthodontic Software. Not familiar with Cloud9? No worries!!! We will train you!
Your job duties will include: Chairside assisting, IV and Oral Sedation assisting, Sterilization, Hygiene assisting when needed (x-rays, sealants, etc), Coronal polishing, and assisting with ordering supplies. We are looking for a strong candidate who is punctual, dependable, has a positive personality, and LOVES working with children! You must be detail oriented regarding charting and comfortable explaining treatment plans to parents. We are open Monday through Thursday with operating hours 8:30am to 5:30pm with one hour for lunch. Our team splits on Tuesdays and Thursdays when we travel to the Buckhead Chastain location.
