Dental Hygienist

Our client is a growing healthcare organization based in Lakeland, FL that offers its employees work/life balance, full benefits, and relocation assistance.

The Position: Our Client is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join their growing team. The pay range our client is offering is a $58,000- $70,000 Salary.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in Florida
  • Insurability (malpractice)
  • Principles, theories, and practices of dentistry

Responsibilities:

  • Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
  • Be Familiar with Client’s Program Philosophies, Goals, And Objectives
  • Be Cognizant of And Comply with All Client’s Policies and Procedures, as Well as State and Federal Regulations
  • Complete All Required Paperwork on Time (Timesheets, Encounter Tickets, Evaluations, Progress Notes, Etc.)
  • Understand The Requirements of Client’s Exposure Control Plan
  • Personally Utilize Universal Precautions When Practicing in The Clinical Setting
  • Provide Necessary Information and Signatures for Participation in Reimbursement Arrangements, Such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Other Plans
  • Maintain up to Date Knowledge of Coding and Billing Requirements
  • Provide Accurate Coding Information on Encounter Tickets That Corresponds to Care Given and Documented in Progress Notes
  • Rotate to Other Client Centers as Needed to Provide Coverage
  • Attend and Participate in Mandatory Client Meetings (Center Specific Quarterly Meetings, Corporate Meetings, and Other Meetings as Designated by the Dental Director)
  • Report Dental Issues at the Dental Meetings
  • Participate in Peer Review Activities as requested by CCO
  • Demonstrate Ability to Work Cooperatively with Other Members of The Dental Team
  • Apply Dental Techniques
  • Teach Personal Hygiene and Daily Living Skills
  • Always maintain neat and professional appearance
  • Perform All Surgical Procedures Using Sterile Techniques and CDC Guidelines
  • Complete All Other Necessary Tasks as Needed
