What You’ll Do
- Perform General Health and Oral Assessments including, but not limited to:
- Review of health history and medications
- BP and pulse
- Extraoral and Intraoral Head and Neck Exam
- Oral cancer screening including use of Oral ID
- Comprehensive dental charting and periodontal charting for proper diagnosis
- Ability to develop a Dental Hygiene Diagnosis
- Expose and interpret dental radiographs (digital)
- Remove biofilm, toxins and hard deposits both sub gingival and supra gingival including prophys, gingivitis therapy and gum therapy
- Application of Fluoride varnish and sealants
- Educate patients on dental diseases, including gingivitis and periodontal disease according to ADA/APP guidelines
- Educate patients on restorative needs and demonstrate oral hygiene instructions as related to individual needs
- Screening for Invisalign and Orthodontic needs
- Recommend and educate patients as related to oral risks for need of take-home products and aides (fluorides, Toothbrush, waterpiks) to improve oral hygiene
- Educate patients on nutritional needs and smoking cessation

Job Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited Dental Hygiene Program (Associates degree minimum, Bachelors preferred)
- Active Texas RDH Licensure
- Current CPR certification (AHA preferred BLS with AED)
- Nitrous certification
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and patient care
Employment Type
This is a Full-time/Part-time opportunities available based on location. This position will be stationed in a single office location with some travel for trainings.
