Position: Office Assistant
Location:Cranford,NJ
Shift:M-F 9am-6:00pm

What You'll Do:

  • Research, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the VP, including those of sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral or response
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the VP including but not limited to: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments and interviews; assisting in coordination efforts between the Sales and Marketing departments, completing purchase requests for the lab, composing and preparing confidential correspondence
  • Plans, coordinates and ensures VP's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time and office
  • Anticipate the needs of the VP and proactively address issues


What We're Looking For:

  • 2-3 years' of demonstrated success working as an Administrative Assistant supporting the C-Suite
  • Past experience within a laboratory, clinical or medical support environment is highly desired
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing their work time efficiently. Meticulous attention to detail is a must!
  • Ability to proactively handle time-sensitive and high pressure situations with a collected yet relentless approach. Outside the box thinking is welcome.
  • Reasonable flexibility in working outside of standard office hours
  • Superior verbal and written communication
  • Proficient in all programs within Microsoft Office Suite
