Job Description
We are looking for a Part-time Registered Nurse to join our dental offices in the Florida panhandle!
The Registered Nurse will support our Oral Surgeon during Oral Surgery days. A great opportunity for someone looking to supplement their regular income!
Competitive Compensation:
$35-40/hr, depending upon experience

Schedule:
Part-time hours - up to 40 hours per month, Saturdays are required
This position requires travel between our Pensacola and Crestview locations.

Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for coordination of patient care during consult, IV sedations and all other oral surgery practice procedures in a fast-paced practice
- Provides chairside support during clinical sessions, assist Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) with treating and monitoring patients during OMS procedures, including but not exclusively, IV sedation cases – including pre-assessment, starting IV, intra-operative monitoring, post procedure monitoring and discharge of the patient to home
- Provides education instruction for patients and families
- Will maintain and record patient information, prepare and maintain the clinical environment, monitors and reassure patients undergoing dental/OMS treatment, and provide advice to patients and refer clinical questions to Oral Surgeon
- Complete follow-up phone calls to patients
- Order Surgery Supplies
- Will work with Surgical Assistants and Oral Surgeon
- Requires Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Active RN license and 2-3 years patient care experience in a medical/dental facility
- Must have an excellent IV and assessment skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- ACLS certified
- Must be a team player
