Job Description
Full service in house dental lab for a multi specialty practice is seeking an experienced team leader. This position requires knowledge of various workflow and protocols related to the CADCAM design department for fix, implant and removable dental work.
Requires knowledge in the following areas:
- Managerial skills to lead 7+ staff and technicians.
- Professional communication with doctors
- Read and interpret Doctor’s prescription to design abutments and/or porcelain restorations, and removable appliances.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met in timely manner.
- Order abutments and parts from vendors
- Understanding of other areas of CAD/CAM such as milling and sintering
- Ability to demonstrate skill in use of CAD/CAM software to design crowns and more
- Ability to learn and understand dental anatomy and terminology.
- Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Candidate must:
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordination work efforts with other employees and organization
