Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Dentist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity features a Monday through Thursday schedule, 6:00am to 4:30pm, in a high-volume clinical environment. Candidates proficient in exodontia are preferred, though this skill is not required. The Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, supervise staff, and contribute to patient education and staff training.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain overall responsibility for dental care and services to each patient
- Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and dental treatment, including emergency oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within the scope of general dentistry
- Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
- Evaluate patients returning from offsite dental visits
- Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
- Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to all patients seen
- Supervise and coach dental assistants
- Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
- Arizona dental license required
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Experience in high-volume clinics preferred
- Experience with TechCare EMR system is beneficial
