General Dentist – Des Moines, IA
Practice Setting: Dental Clinic
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Start Date: June 3rd, 2026
Coverage Duration: Ongoing
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Dentist to join our busy dental clinic in Des Moines, IA. This role offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
Key Details
- Patient Ages: 85% Adult/ 15% Pediatrics
- Patient Volume: Average of 8-10 patients per day
- Types of Cases: Basic restorative (Fillings/Crown/Bridge, etc.)
- Procedures: Mix of Basic restorative (Fillings/Crown/Bridge, etc.)
- Support Staff: 1-2 DA's per Doctor, 3 Hygienists - we run a 4th hygiene column, 2 Front Desk
- EMR System: EagleSoft
Schedule & Compensation
- Work Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch included)
- Call Requirements: None
- Salary Range: $125 per hour
- Credentialing Timeframe: 1 Week
- Travel Reimbursement: Yes
Candidate Requirements
- Active Iowa Dental License
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong clinical skills in extractions, space maintainers, fillings, crowns
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
