Job Description
A dentistry clinic in Louisiana is looking for a dentist who can provide locum tenens coverage for five days beginning in around mid-June with a high chance for one to two weeks. On the job, the locum tenens dentist can expect to see twenty and twenty-five patients per day for a variety of cases: Locum must be comfortable with extractions, fillings, and dentures. Provider will often see cases where a full mouth extraction is needed and then complete same day dentures. Client prefers not to refer root canals out but can if Dentist is not comfortable. The schedule will be Monday through Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This facility uses Dentrix and ASPEN EMR.
