(Archived) Dentist - TN

MDA is seeking a Locums General Dentist for a full-time (40 hours/week) assignment in Tennessee. 2-3 months to start with likelihood of extending. Requirements: DDS or DMD degree with valid license to practice dentistry with DEA certificate in the state of TN. Correctional Medicine (CM) experience is desired but not required.

Correctional Medicine is becoming a highly desired environment for dentists. Correctional medicine dentists have the opportunity to see a wide variety of interesting cases you may not see in a normal outpatient dental setting. This position provides routine and emergency dental care, assessment, diagnosis and treatment to incarcerated patients. This position is responsible for but not limited to preventative, diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology both routine and emergency settings.

Compensation is weekly direct deposit. MDA will pay for and make all travel arrangements. Medical Doctor Associates provides A++ Professional Malpractice Insurance. Must have clean security background check, non-restricted state license, current DEA, and BLS.
