Job Description

Overview

This CSR will answer high volume customer service calls giving Provider of Service status calls on all self-funded medical plan administered by Third Party Administrator (TPA).

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 2 year work history in customer service call center.

  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred)

Responsibilities

  1. Provide customer service to Providers of Service for medical claim status calls.
  2. Ensure any message left in the customer service phone queue voice mail is retrieved and returned within 2 business days.

  3. Must document each call answered in the claims system.

  4. Must be on time and available 8:30 – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.
