Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a Locum Tenens (LT) Dentist for our bid proposal to submit to our client in Minnesota. This position is to providemedically necessary routine dental care: including restorations (composite and amalgam), extractions (simple and surgical), premolar and anterior root canal therapy, preventative care, and emergency care as needed.



This is a IHS facility in MN in a Hospital Setting beginning ASAP for one year. Shifts are Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm. Services that alleviate pain or prevent disease are given a higher priority than those intended to prevent or contain disease, or correct damage caused by disease. Thus, emergency care has the highest priority (Level I), while providing access to complex rehabilitative care (Level V) is given the lowest priority for expending the available resources. The majority of treatment needs in American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities falls within the first three levels, sometimes called basic care, which comprise the most cost-effective services to provide on a community-wide basis. As additional funds become available for dental care, the schedule can be used to expand access to care beyond basic services in an orderly, equitable, and cost-effective manner. Requirements areDentist (DDS/DMD), BLS, DEA, any active state license.US Citizenship or permanent resident status.
