We are seeking an Dental Billing Specialist to join our P3 group. An ideal candidate would be detail oriented and feels comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Multiple Office Payment Posting for EFT, checks, credit cards with adjustments made accurately
- Suspended Credits report knowledge
- Knowledge around Bill Types
- Knowledge of Payment tables, Co Pays and Fee Schedules Maintenance
- Knowledge around Credentialing and ability to update and maintain all insurance plans
- Knowledge around Creating New Insurance Plans in the system for the offices
- Electronic Claim submission and tracing
- Knowledge for Secondary Claim submission
- EOB reconciliation with ability to send appeals when needed
- Insurance Claim Tracing and Aging Knowledge
- Ability to Audit a Patient Account Ledger and send statements with notes in the system
Job Requirements
What We Need From You
- 1+ years of relevant experience working with dental insurance claims
- Familiar with dental codes and the requirements from insurance to successfully pay a claim
- Highly motivated and customer focused individual
- Basic computer knowledge within Microsoft applications is a plus
- Dentrix Proficient – Dentrix Enterprise Preferred
