Location: Fort Yates, ND

Dates coverage is needed: asap – ongoing (min 6 months commitment rqr’d) Schedule/Shifts Times: Monday – Thur; 6am - 4:30pm Patient Volume: 8-10 patients per day average Patient Ages: all ages (majority adults) Support Staff: yes – Dentists, Hygienist, admin Type of Charting: EMR – Dentrix

Requirements: 1-year Dental Assistant experience (preferred) Reason for Need: staff shortage Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks on average Additional Info: *** any State License *** Job Duties:

1. Answering phones and scheduling appointments
2. Updating and maintaining patient dental records
3. Overseeing patient check-in procedures
4. Coding and preparing insurance forms.
5. Scheduling referral and testing appointments
6. General office administration
7. Showing patients to their exam rooms
8. Preparing patients for procedures and/or surgeries
9. Assisting with procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions
10. Making dental impressions
11. Sterilizing dental tools and equipment
12. Post-procedure clean-up
13. Generally chairside assisting of dentists and hygienists
