About Us: Our client is a reputable and patient-centered rural healthcare
clinic now delivering high-quality oral healthcare to its patients. Our team is dedicated to
creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and staff. We are currently
seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who excels not only in
clinical skills but also in training and mentoring other dental assistants.
Position Overview: As our lead Registered Dental Assistant and Trainer you will play a crucial
role in providing exceptional patient care while also taking a leadership role in the training and
development of our dental assistant team. You will work closely with our management team
and dental professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and contribute to the growth
and success of our dental department.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

• Assist as needed in all aspects of dental procedures, including chairside assistance and
patient management.

• Take dental x-rays.

• Oversee sterilization and infection control processes, ensuring compliance with infection
control protocols.

Training and Mentoring:

• Develop and implement training programs for new and existing dental assistants.

• Provide hands-on guidance and supervision to dental assistant team members.

• Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.

Clinical Materials & Supply Management:

• Create and maintain a dental materials inventory list.
• Submit weekly supply requests to Dental Manager.
• Maintain an organized and orderly system.
• Work with Dental Manager to maintain dental equipment and maintenance as
needed.

Other responsibilities may be assigned or changed with clinical growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant.
Proven experience in training and mentoring dental assistants.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Knowledge of technologies and willingness to learn new skills.
