Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Ridder Orthodontics is seeking a motivated and friendly Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team! We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who is RHS (x-ray) certified to join our thriving practice.

As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant you will work with an orthodontist to provide clinical care and ensure a positive experience for our patients. You must be able to successfully fit orthodontic bands, tie arch wires, take impressions, assist in cementing bands and bonding brackets, and perform all necessary cleaning and sterilization practices. You will enjoy working with children, and therefore must have an excellent work ethic, have compassion towards others, and have an outgoing personality, while maintaining a positive attitude. As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will be a committed and engaged team player serving others in our fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be able to assist dentist with an array of procedures and take quality radiographs, prepare patients for procedures or exams, sterilize and disinfecting instruments, set up instrument trays, preparing materials for procedures. They also provide patient and practice support services in addition to these duties.

The Orthodontics Dental Assistant will travel to all 3 Ridder Orthodontics locations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting preferred
• Pediatric dental assistant experience is a plus!

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Required)
• RDA is a plus!

Compensation Range: $18.00+ DOE
