(Archived) Dental Assistant (General Dentistry Practice)
Job Description
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as necessary

Coronal polishing certified,

Will be dedicated to assisting the hygienist

Including but not limited to: seating patients, reviewing health history, perio charting with hygienist, taking radiographs, assisting doctor in periodic exams, scheduling recall appointments, sterilization of instruments and rooms for hygienists, setting up operatories, coronal polishing, confirmations and schedule audits. Experience preferred but not required.
