Job Description
Position: Dental Assistant - Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Shift: TBD
Job Duties:
- Front office management, greeting patients in a courteous and sensitive manner
- Scheduling appointments and assisting with the needs of our clients, billing and dental chart maintenance
- Conducting patient eligibility and financial screening for services as required by the county.
- Acts as a patient advocate and performs those duties necessary to treat the patient as reflected in the mission of AHF.
Requirements:
- Certified Dental Assistant
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- Bilingual Spanish-English skills preferred
- Ability to positively and proactively handle patient concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
