Job Title: Contract Dental Hygienist

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our team on a government contract in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing top-notch dental care and education to patients, possess strong clinical skills, and exhibit excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct oral health assessments and evaluate patients' oral hygiene.
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, and apply fluoride and sealants.
- Take and develop dental x-rays.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety standards.
- Manage and maintain dental equipment and sterilization procedures.

Qualifications:

- Must hold an active Dental Hygienist License in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a background and credit check.
