Position: Dental Hygienist
Location: Kokomo, Indiana 46902
Assignment Dates: ASAP – 6 to 8 weeks
Schedule Options:
- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (lunch 12–1)
- Friday, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Patient Volume: 8–15 patients per day
Overview:
A thriving dental practice in Kokomo, IN, is seeking a Dental Hygienist for a 6–8-week assignment with potential for extension. The ideal candidate is confident in both preventive and comprehensive care and values patient education in every appointment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive exams, prophylaxis, SRPs, and sealants.
- Confidently educate patients on oral health and set the doctor up for clinical success.
- Maintain a full schedule of exams and recalls.
- Utilize Open Dental for charting and documentation.
- Preferred but not required: Experience with laser therapy, nitrous, and periodontal treatment.
Team Structure:
Join a supportive office that includes 2 dentists, 3 hygienists, expanded-function dental assistants, and dedicated front office staff.
Requirements:
- Active Indiana Dental Hygiene License
- Strong communication and patient education skills
