Job Description
Dental Hygienist needed in Northern, CA for an FMLA leave (details below)
6-month contract opportunity to cover for a maternity leave
CA License required
13-14 pts per day
Periodontal charting
Oral prophylaxis
Scaling and Root Planning
Intra and Extraoral examination of soft tissue
Application of topical, therapeutic, and subgingival agents used for the control of caries and periodontal disease (including fluoride)
Application of non-aerosol and non-caustic topical agents
Pit and fissure sealants
Irrigate sub-gingivally with an antimicrobial and/or antibiotic liquid solution(s).
Polish and contour restorations
Oral exfoliative cytology
Periodontal soft tissue curettage;
Administration of local anesthesia;
Placement of antimicrobial or antibiotic medications which do not later have to be removed.
