Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care and patient education in a structured clinical setting in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will perform dental cleanings, monitor oral health, and support overall dental operations. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with long weekends every week in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings) for patients as referred by dental staff
• Provide individualized oral hygiene education and preventive care guidance
• Monitor and document oral health and periodontal conditions
• Take dental X-rays as directed by the supervising dentist
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
• Assist with scheduling and documentation related to patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Follow established clinical policies and infection control procedures

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Dental Hygienist license in any U.S. state or territory
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Knowledge of dental hygiene practices and patient care procedures
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Prior experience preferred but not required
