What You'll Do

As our Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll play an important role in helping our patients maintain healthy smiles and feel comfortable throughout their dental visits. Responsibilities include:

• Provide preventive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
• Take and review dental X-rays as appropriate to support patient care.
• Assess patients' oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease or other oral health concerns.
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, home care, and preventive treatments.
• Apply fluoride treatments and provide recommendations to help prevent cavities and maintain oral health.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to patients of all ages, including geriatric patients.
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and the rest of the team to support comprehensive treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control, sterilization, and office safety protocols.
• Help create a welcoming, positive experience that keeps patients confident in their care.

We use Curve Dental software and value quality care over rushing through appointments. Our typical appointment times include:

• New patients: 90 minutes
• Adult prophylaxis: 60 minutes
• Periodontal maintenance: 60 minutes
• Scaling and root planing (SRP): 90 minutes per half-mouth appointment
• Children's prophylaxis: 30–60 minutes, depending on age

Our AI-assisted documentation and periodontal charting tools help support clinical workflows, while Pearl Second Opinion provides additional technology to assist with patient education and care.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a hygienist who is kind, dependable, patient-focused, and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients. Someone who is comfortable caring for a diverse patient population, including geriatric patients, and who believes in the value of preventive care.

Our ideal candidate:

• Holds an active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin, or is eligible to obtain one.
• Holds or can obtain the appropriate local anesthesia credentials for the position.
• Is comfortable providing fluoride treatments and educating patients on prevention.
• Enjoys working with patients of different ages and needs, including older adults.
• Communicates well, works collaboratively, and brings a positive attitude to the team.
• Is interested in full-time work, though part-time availability will be considered.
