Office Manager for a busy multi-provider office wanted. Full time position, typically working Monday through Thursday. Our practices work 205-208 days per year. We have 5 corporate breaks each year: 4 days for Memorial Day (May), July 4th, Labor Day (September), 5 days at Thanksgiving (November), and the last 10-12 days at the end of the year (December).
Office manager is expected to insure a smooth running office. KidsKare is a goal oriented practice and expectations to generate and maintain a well trained and focused staff are high. This position requires an individual to relate well to patients and staff, having good communication and organizational skills. Problem solving and ability to listen to both sides of an issues, along with strong investigative skills is important. Attention to patient and staff safety, creating a clean and pleasant environment are important. This position requires being the point of contact for repairs in the building, receipt of mail, supplies or equipment, and coordinating trainings.
Duties include but are not limited to hiring and training support staff, focus on timely patient-centered treatment and lead the entire team to do the same, overseeing daily functions of both front and back office, paying bills and managing a budget, focus on patient schedules for all providers, insure all insurance and Medicaid patients have eligibility verified before treatment is rendered, overseeing patient records and correspondence are properly charted and scanned in to the computer, training and in-servicing front office team, hold meetings as necessary for both front and back office, work closely with the Vice President and Director of Operations of KidsKare P.C., generate data reports as needed for the corporate office, attend manager meetings as needed.
24 months of dental or other medical office management experience preferred, knowledge of Dentrix Enterprise, Dexis software a plus, bilingual English//Spanish a plus.
