Job Description
Practice Manager
Periodontics | Private Practice | Prescott, AZ
A well-established, privately owned periodontic practice with two locations in Prescott, Arizona, is seeking a high-caliber Office Administrator with strong Human Resources leadership and periodontal practice experience to oversee operations, people, and systems.
This is a senior administrative role for someone who understands that a specialty dental practice is both a healthcare environment and a business—and knows how to run both with precision.
About the Practice
· Private, doctor-owned periodontic practice
· Two established locations in Prescott, AZ
· Multiple Periodontists on staff
· Strong clinical reputation and long-standing community presence
· Focused on quality care, efficiency, and long-term stability
Position Overview
The Office Administrator serves as the central operational and HR leader across both locations. This role partners closely with the doctors to ensure consistency, compliance, accountability, and smooth day-to-day operations—freeing providers to focus on patient care and production.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Leadership
· Lead all HR functions across both offices, including:
o Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
o Employee relations and performance management
o Policy development and enforcement
o Payroll coordination, PTO tracking, and benefits administration
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
· Maintain accurate, compliant personnel files and documentation
· Serve as a trusted resource for staff and leadership on HR matters
Multi-Office Operations Management
· Oversee daily operations across both practice locations
· Ensure consistency in policies, workflows, and expectations
· Supervise administrative and front-office teams
· Optimize scheduling, patient flow, and administrative efficiency
· Act as the liaison between doctors, staff, and ownership
Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and specialty dental regulations
· Coordinate audits, inspections, and corrective actions
· Maintain safety, infection control, and training documentation
· Proactively identify and mitigate operational and HR risk
Financial & Administrative Oversight
· Support payroll accuracy and timekeeping
· Monitor overhead, staffing efficiency, and administrative costs
· Manage vendor relationships and contracts
· Assist ownership with operational reporting and planning
Ideal Candidate Profile
· Proven experience as a Dental Office Administrator or Practice Manager
· Direct experience in a periodontic or specialty dental practice required
· Strong background in Human Resources and employee management
· Experience managing multiple providers and multiple locations
· Confident leader with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
· Professional, discreet, and trusted by both doctors and staff
Compensation & Benefits
· $85,000 plus annually
· Stable, private-practice environment (no corporate oversight)
· Leadership role with autonomy and influence
· Long-term opportunity with a respected specialty practice
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
