Position: Medical Data Entry Specialist
Location: Lewisville, TX
Shift: Mon – Weds flexible
Thurs and Fri 8am to 5pm
Start: Immediately

Job Description

• Accurately capture, verify and transmit PHI and Medical billing data.
• eClinicalWorks (eCW), Encryptscan software, Novitas and ImmTrac2.
  • Reviewing Patient Health Information & Manage Resource Schedule (eCW)
  • Verify Insurance information Provided & Complete Progress notes (eCW)
  • Scribing Immunization Details for Vaccinations Administered
  • Transmitting data via multiple systems
  • Responsible HPPA Compliant medical records mgmt. using EncryptScan
• Medical Billing
  • Primary Liaison for Vaccination Medical Claims with Medical Billing
  • Work with Finance and CFO on HRSA Uninsured Program
  • Work Denial Claims to obtain missing or unverified information

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in medical billing or Clinical Practice Environment
• Ability to work as part of an Integrated and Cross Functional team
• Strong Ethics and Trustworthiness
• Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
