Applications Administrator - Information Technology
Sage Dental Management is looking for an Applications Administrator to join our growing team in Boca Raton, FL! This position will serve as a service desk escalation point and SME on Application related configurations, security, MACs as well as upgrade path review. They will take ownership of the individual Enterprise Applications to become the SME. This will allow for a deeper understanding of feature set and capabilities of these applications to ensure proper use, setup and roll out of such.
Managing all tickets relating to onboarding/offboarding and any status changes (transfers, adds/removes, etc):
- Can require four (4) or more hours per day
- Will strictly focus on maintaining user base, permissions, and schedules in Dentrix, Dolphin, Avaya, Dexis and all key Enterprise Applications
- Escalation point for service desk on resolving applications related issues or outages
- Coordinate with AppDev on Dentrix initiatives and roll outs
Primary Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- iPhone / iPad:
- Daily: Managing 800+ iPads in the practices in MDM system
- Monthly: Maintaining I-device applications, moves/adds/changes in apps (Smile mate, Denta-go, Invisage, SageNet Treatment planner app, Nuvi)
- Dentrix:
- Daily: Create new users, transfers, provider changes - online scheduler, permission change requests, primary point/escalation for interacting with Schein
- Monthly: Termination of users/accounts, new practice setup, role based security maintenance/optimization/review, health & maintenance reviews
- Dexis:
- Daily: Optimization check / system health (comm folder)
- Monthly: Clean exports and temp folders to reduce corruption and speed up claim attachment process, work with Dexis on upgrades, point person for Dexis support issues, review upgrade path(s)
- Avaya (Phone Switch):
- Monthly: Setup new users, configure phone routes
- New Clinic Setup: Build call tree, upload recording files, test all call routes, configure handsets
- Dolphin:
- Weekly: Create new users, permission change requests, primary point/escalation for interacting with Dolphin
- Monthly: Optimize & maintain system, review upgrade path, review features and enhancements for possible deployment to the field
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Dentrix Enterprise experience preferred (not required)
- Project Management a plus
- Microsoft Office / O365 proficiency required
- Experience in a DSO preferred
- Highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
- Customer service oriented
- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Flexibility in schedule (required for after hour upgrades)
- Team player
- Ability to work during nights, weekends, and on call as required.
