Job Description

SALT Dental Collective is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sterilization Technician to join our team at Brewer Dental Center. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of our dental instruments and equipment.

In this position, you will be responsible for decontaminating and cleaning all dental instruments, ensuring that they are properly assembled and packaged, and managing the sterile supplies using aseptic technique. You will also be responsible for evaluating equipment functionality, reporting any malfunctions, and ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed.

The ideal candidate for this role is highly motivated, reliable, and a team player. They should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple demands and requests. Knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology is preferred.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Physically capable of transporting supplies and equipment
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of dental clinical operations and terminology preferred
  • Prioritize multiple demands and requests to maintain patient flow
  • Ability to work within a team environment and lend support, as a team player, to team members as needed
