Job Description

SALT Dental Partners is seeking a skilled and motivated Orthodontic Records Tech to join our team at Brewer Dental Center. As an Orthodontic Records Tech, you will be responsible for collecting and organizing records. This position requires strong skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.   • Collecting and organizing orthodontic records, including X-rays, photographs, and impressions
  • Ensuring that all records are accurately labeled and stored
  • Assisting orthodontists and dental assistants during orthodontic procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining equipment and instruments
  • Providing support to patients and their families, answering any questions or concerns
  • Updating patient charts and treatment plans
  • Following infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and sterile environment
  • Assisting with scheduling and coordinating appointments

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an orthodontic records technician or dental assistant preferred
  • RHS certification requrired
  • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, records management, and infection control protocols
  • Knowledge of pano, ceph, photos, and sterlization
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay ranges are from $17.00 - $20.00/hour
