About the Role

As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive oral healthcare services, including preventive, restorative, surgical, and emergency dental care. You will play a key role in improving patient health and quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dental examinations and consultations
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
• Interpret dental radiographs
• Perform restorative procedures and fillings
• Diagnose and treat periodontal disease
• Extract teeth and perform basic oral surgery
• Provide endodontic treatment
• Deliver prosthetic dental care within established guidelines
• Prescribe medications when appropriate
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation
• Respond to dental emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare and facility staff to ensure efficient patient care
• Provide clinical guidance to dental assistants and hygienists
• Support quality assurance and accreditation initiatives

Schedule

Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Standard 4-day work week available
• Optional 5th day for providers seeking additional hours
• Flexible scheduling options
• Part-time availability considered

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Active dental license in good standing, or willingness to obtain licensure if required
• Ability to meet all federal, state, and facility credentialing requirements

Preferred

• One or more years of clinical dentistry experience
• Correctional, community health, public health, or underserved population experience
• Current CPR certification
