Schedule: Three (3) days per week

Overview: Kidz Connextion Dental and Orthodontics, a well-established dental practice with three fully operational clinics in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a temporary Orthodontist to cover a maternity leave from June to early September. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Orthodontist to contribute their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on pediatric dental care.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide orthodontic treatment to pediatric patients in accordance with established treatment plans and protocols.
2. Conduct comprehensive orthodontic examinations, including the assessment of patient records, diagnostic records, and treatment planning.
3. Perform orthodontic procedures such as adjustments, appliance placements, and removals.
4. Educate patients and their families about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and proper oral hygiene practices.
5. Collaborate with other dental professionals within the practice to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and practice protocols.

Requirements

1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
2. Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
3. Current license to practice dentistry and orthodontics in the state of Arizona.
4. Board certification in Orthodontics preferred but not required.
5. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience practicing orthodontics, preferably with pediatric patients.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and their families.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate and child-friendly manner.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
10. Flexibility to work three (3) days per week during the specified duration of the maternity leave.
