Job Description
Our client in CT is seeking a skilled Endodontist for a 125-day assignment. This role involves seeing specialty endodontic cases only, typically handling 4-5 procedures and consultations per day across 2-3 chairs. While full-time availability is preferred, the client is open to considering all availability for an 8 AM to 5 PM shift, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform Root Canal Therapy (Anterior, Premolar & Molar)
- Conduct Non-Surgical Endodontic Retreatment
- Execute Apical Surgery / Apicoectomy
- Diagnose and treat Cracked & Fractured Teeth
- Manage Dental Trauma – Avulsed, Dislodged & Fractured Teeth
- Provide Emergency Endodontic Treatment / Pain Management
- Perform Pulpotomy & Pulpectomy
- Conduct Endodontic Diagnosis & Treatment Planning
- Interpret CBCT Imaging
- Treat Internal & External Root Resorption
- Perform Regenerative Endodontic Procedures
- Execute Internal Tooth Bleaching
- Repair Perforations
- Manage Calcified Canals & Separated Instruments
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Endodontics
- EMR: Dentrix
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 4-5 procedures/day, plus consultations
- LOA: 125 Days
- Staffing Mix: The support staff for endodontics at this location has been moved to other locations due to no provider. The client will provide whichever staff the dentist may need.
