Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Community Health Center in Western Iowa is looking for a General Dentist to start working November 11, 2013 in their dental clinic through the end of the year.
General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.
Required Qualifications
This General Dentist will be doing all aspects of general dentistry to include: Fillings, Extractions, root canals, crowns,
endo. They see some molar endo cases, but this dentist can do up to the level that he/she feel comfortable! Need to be able to see 12-16 patients per day.
Preferred Qualifications
This General Dentist will be working Monday through Friday, full-time, seeing all ages. The patients are majority adults and some children with the youngest child seen being 6 months old which is very very rare.
