Join a mission-driven dental team serving Alleghany, Ashe & Watauga Counties. Be part of a growing practice offering full-spectrum care—dental, medical, behavioral health & more.

Practice Details:

• 7-chair dental facility renovated in 2020, equipped with digital radiographs, nitrous oxide, and portable dental equipment for a robust school outreach program.
• Dental team includes 2 full-time dentists and a pediatric dentist available one day a week.
• Supported by 1 hygiene assistant, 7 dental assistants, front desk staff, and an office manager.
• Diversity of activities during the day including hygiene checks, limited exams, and restorative/surgical procedures. 25% of the patients are pediatric.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday schedule, working from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call duties or Weekends

Qualifications:

• Must hold a North Carolina Dental License.
• Comfortable performing extractions, prosthetics, restorative, and pediatric dentistry.
• Public health experience is preferred, and we are looking for a team player with excellent time management and patient care skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive compensation starting at $200,000 and up + $10,000 sign-on/relocation package.
• PTO on an accrual system, with 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave accrued per month, plus 12 paid state holidays. Vacation hours increase over time.
• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and malpractice insurance.
• CME allowance of $2000 per year.
• Potential eligibility for $50,000 student loan repayment through the NHSC.
• Retirement through LGERS, with employees contributing 6% of their paycheck and the agency contributing 12.88%. A 401K is offered (not matched).
