Associate General Dentist – Established Private Practice

A respected, multi-provider private dental practice with deep community roots seeks a full-time Associate General Dentist to join its growing team. This opportunity arises due to the recent departure of one provider and the planned retirement transition of another, creating immediate patient demand and a clear pathway to partnership.

This position is ideal for a motivated dentist—either a recent graduate or an experienced clinician—not yet in the final phase of their career, who values mentorship, continual skill development, and long-term professional growth in a collaborative setting.

Location: Binghamton,NY

Position Overview:

• Clinical Scope: General dentistry for both adults and children, including restorative, crown & bridge, removable prosthodontics, endodontics, and simple extractions
• Training Opportunities: Implant placement, Invisalign, and CEREC available through in-office mentorship or external courses

Practice Environment:

• Facilities: Modern technology including CEREC, DIAGNOdent, VELscope, diode laser, and intraoral cameras
• Patient Volume: 36 hygiene patients/day; doctors average 9–12 patients/day
• New Patients: 35–40 new patients per month
• Support Staff:
• 3 front desks
• 3 middle management
• 2 assistants + 2 sterilization assistants
• 5 full-time hygienists + 1 part-time clerical/admin assistant
• Scheduling:
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 1:00–2:00 PM)
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (lunch 12:00–12:30 PM)
• Closed Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary Options:
• $180,000/yr Earning Potential
• Production Model: 35% of adjusted net collections
• Partnership Track: Offered after 2–3 years

Payor Mix:

• Approximately 40–45% BC/BS PPO patients
• The remaining patient base is fee-for-service
• In-house membership plan available
• Growing utilization of online payment systems
