Milledge Dental Partners is actively looking to grow our team in Tennessee to include Crossville, Knoxville, Sevierville, Erwin, Johnson City and Morristown. We would love to speak with you!
We are looking to hire a Dental Associate to perform routine and complex dental procedures on patients according to their oral health needs and cosmetic concerns. The Dental Associate's responsibilities include performing comprehensive diagnosis and developing corresponding treatment plans for patients, keeping accurate records, performing quality dental care, and answering patients’ questions.

Dental Associate Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with a dental license in Tennessee
- If you are relocating to TN and do not currently have a TN license, we can still contract with you while waiting on the license and we will pay the license fees.
Dental Associate Responsibilities:
- Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
- Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
- Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers
- Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
- Performing oral cancer screenings. Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.• In-depth knowledge of the current standards of care for dentistry and the latest oral health treatments available
Observational skills to diagnose oral health problems based on the findings of exams and X-rays
• Ability to remain upright for long periods while treating patients
• Interpersonal skills to put patients at ease and encourage positive interactions during appointments
• Strong oral communication skills to convey clear instructions to both patients and assisting staff
• Computer skills to utilize computer-aided dentistry equipment and medical records software
• Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment, such as mouth mirrors, probes, drills, scalers and curettes
• Up-to-date knowledge on patient safety, infection control and privacy laws and regulations
