Job Description
- Work Dates Needed: ASAP
- Preferred Schedule: 32-hour workweek, flexible scheduling (8 hours per day / 4-day workweek)
- Worksite Setting: Adult Male Correctional Facility
- Scope of Work: The dentist will be responsible for providing professional dental care to inmates/residents, performing routine dental treatments such as fillings, extractions, cleanings, dentures, and root canals. Duties include diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, supervising the facility dental program, consulting with other healthcare staff, managing dental supplies, maintaining dental records, and ensuring sanitation and infection control. Additionally, the dentist will coordinate specialized or emergency care as needed, and ensure the facility's compliance with safety and security regulations.
