About the POSITION:

A General Dentist is needed to join a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This organization has a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality, affordable care to underserved communities and offers a supportive, team-based clinical environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive dental exams and cleanings

  • Conducting dental X-rays and diagnostic procedures

  • Detecting and treating cavities

  • Preventing and managing periodontal (gum) disease

  • Providing tooth-colored fillings, crowns, and bridges

  • Performing root canal therapy

  • Fabricating and fitting dentures and partial dentures

  • Placing and restoring dental implants

  • Offering professional teeth whitening and preventive oral health education

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend hours.

The dentist will collaborate with and provide guidance to Dental Hygienists, EFDAs, and Dental Assistants, ensuring quality care delivery. The role also involves training and mentoring dental students and clinical support staff, fostering professional growth within a learning-oriented environment.

About the COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary: $160,000 per year

  • Incentive Bonus: Up to $24,000 annually (paid monthly based on encounters and quality metrics)
