This opportunity begins on June 2, 2025, and spans 60 days with potential for extension. The position involves working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing comprehensive dental care to a patient population that is approximately 80% children and 20% adults. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with kids, Medicaid patients, and managing a high patient volume, including operative cases, hygiene checks, crowns, bridges, and root canals.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and treatment planning for both children and adults
• Provide operative dental care, including fillings and restorative procedures
• Conduct hygiene checks (approximately 24 patients per day)
• Prepare and place crowns and bridges
• Complete root canal treatments
• See and treat approximately 12 operative patients per day
• Work efficiently in a high-volume Medicaid practice
• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records
• Collaborate effectively with 2 dental assistants and 1 hygienist
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about oral health and treatment options
Additional Information:
• South Carolina dental license required for this position
• Experience working with children is essential
