We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a locum tenens position in Illinois. This 125-day assignment offers flexible scheduling options, with a preference for full-time availability including 2-3 Saturdays, starting on date 05/26/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, orthodontics, and grafting. This busy practice sees all types of cases, providing an excellent opportunity for a versatile dentist to contribute their expertise. While experience in all areas is not required, candidates with broader skills will be given preference. Early start times are also preferred.

Provider Type Needed: General Dentist

Schedule: Flexible, preferably 5-6 days/week including 2-3 Saturdays

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings and crowns

• Conduct tooth extractions and root canal treatments

• Provide orthodontic services as needed

• Perform dental grafting procedures

• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records using Ascend software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care

• Adhere to all practice policies and procedures

• Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies

Additional Information:

• Illinois state dental license required

• Experience with Ascend dental software is beneficial

• Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced practice environment
