Job Description

Experienced General Dentist needed for a locum tenens assignment in Idaho. This 60-day opportunity, starting 05/19/2025, involves working at a dental clinic providing comprehensive general dentistry services. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of general dentistry and be proficient in using Dentrix dental software. This role offers the potential for extension and requires an active Idaho dental license.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses

• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients

• Provide a full range of general dentistry services

• Conduct routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions

• Perform more complex procedures as needed within the scope of general dentistry

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix software

• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

• Participate in continuing education to stay current with dental practices and technologies
